Perfect Your Strategy: All enemy attacks are telegraphed in minimalistic, turn-based combat.Defend them from the Vek and watch your fire! Defend the Cities: Civilian buildings power your mechs.Putting them into action is often much more difficult. The gameplay basics, just like FTL, are very simple. In addition to shooting them for damage, you can knock them into other enemies for damage, knock them into damage tiles, drown them, even reposition them so they’ll murder each other. On your turn it’s your job to reposition them to save civilian populance, or kill them outright. Each turn the aliens will move, and you will see their attack actions. You play as a small squad of timehoppers, piloting advanced mechs in order to defeat the bug-like vex menace. Play with small numbers, make the mechanics known to the player, make multiple systems that while simple, interact with each other to provide a more complex experience. Each attempt to save the world presents a new randomly generated challenge in this turn-based strategy game from the makers of FTL. Into the Breach ascribes to many of the same design principles. You must control powerful mechs from the future to hold off this alien threat. The remnants of human civilization are threatened by gigantic creatures breeding beneath the earth. If you don’t defend against every wave of their attacks, there will be a big loss for humanity. Lots of enormous creatures threaten humans’ bases.
